Geographical Excursions

Why Traveling Matters

Traveling is more than just checking locations off a list; it is a fundamental part of personal growth. By stepping outside of my familiar environment, I am challenged to adapt to new cultures, languages, and perspectives. Travel dismantles prejudice and broadens my empathy, allowing me to see that while our daily habits may differ, our fundamental human experiences remain surprisingly connected. It is in these moments of discovery that I feel I learn the most about who I am.

Reflections on My Journeys

I have been fortunate to explore diverse landscapes, from the sprawling urban energy of New York City to the historic streets of Montreal and the natural beauty of the West Coast in Vancouver. Each location has offered me a unique lesson. Whether it is navigating the complex transit systems of a major metropolis or finding peace in the mountain air, these trips have shaped my ability to solve problems and appreciate the diversity of the world around us.

Future Destinations

Looking ahead, I am eager to explore places that offer a deep dive into different historical and environmental contexts. I am particularly interested in visiting Japan to experience the intersection of ancient tradition and cutting-edge technology, as well as several Mediterranean countries to better understand the roots of various social and cultural frameworks.
